Saumon aux herbes salées

This has to be one of the easiest and most eaten recipe we had growing up. My aunt came up with this topping and ever since I actually don’t like salmon any other way. The salted herbs are sort of impossible to find in Florida so we actually buy a bunch when we go to Canada and freeze it. I have made my own but haven’t had a chance to use it yet.

This is the jar we’re currently using

  • 2 tbsp salted herbs
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5-2 lbs of salmon
  1. Blend the salted herbs, soy sauce and olive oil in a small mixer. Make a foil boat for the salmon, this prevents the liquid from spreading out and burning.
  2. Pour topping on top of salmon.
  3. Broil the salmon for 12-15 minutes, salmon is done when flaky.

We served it up with some quick couscous and some boiled carrots.
